Lipscomb University Austin Center (LUAC) is currently seeking a high energy, creative and visionary professional to join the leadership team of an exciting growth opportunity in higher education in the Austin community. Lipscomb University Austin Campus was formed earlier this year when the former Austin Graduate School of Theology became a part of Lipscomb University, a private, Christian liberal arts institution founded in 1891 and located in Nashville, Tennessee. Though this partnership, Lipscomb will continue to offer a high quality educational experience in a Christ-centered environment to the central Texas community. Lipscomb will also create an expanded vision for graduate education in Austin by offering additional degree programs demanded in the marketplace and not currently offered locally. The Assistant/Associate Director of Enrollment for Lipscomb University-Austin Center (LUAC) is responsible for planning and executing recruiting strategies for the academic programs offered at LUAC and any new undergraduate or graduate programs that may be developed. The Assistant/Associate Director will bring creativity to the position, will build new enrollment ideas, and a focus on opportunities to improve our engagement with potential students and corresponding enrollment. This position serves as a representative of Lipscomb University to prospective students under the guidance and direction of the Dean of LUAC and the AVP for Graduate and Corporate Recruiting. Typical Duties: Manage and execute recruitment efforts for LUAC Represent Lipscomb University to prospective students through career fairs and events; including travel and evening events as needed Assist with the coordination of and participation in on and off campus visits, meetings, and information sessions with prospective students. This will include collaborating with faculty and other staff members on the Lipscomb University main campus. Responsible for identifying, contacting and maintaining relationships with prospective students; meet candidates, describe programs; advising and facilitating student applications; assisting applicants in completing the admissions process. Build and maintain relationships with undergraduate institutions, area businesses and associations, and other organizations as needed. This will require regular written, phone, email contact as well as an ongoing and regular visits and call schedule. Learn and effectively work within our database systems (Slate and Anthology) and recruitment platforms to track and report on inquiries, applications, acceptances, enrollments, etc. as well as communicate with students. This includes assisting with the development and managing of a strategic communication flow to enhance relationships with prospective students and key influencers. Strategically manages an annual recruiting budget to attract and enroll new students each year. Performs routine administrative tasks related to budget management. Respond to and follow up with inquiries from prospective students and applicants. Communicate effectively with students in person as well as via telephone, email, online chats, and text. Interact professionally with internal and external customers. Conduct and/or participate in other customer relations and recruitment activities as required.
