Junior – Middleweight Graphic Designer – (Kilkenny)

Award winning brand & marketing agency based in Kilkenny is seeking to recruit an experienced Graphic Designer to join their expanding team on a 12 month contract.

What does the job involve?
As a junior middleweight you’ll work on a wide variety of projects including;

– Design and layout of documents for print and digital
– Design of digital visual content for social media
– Design of presentations and presentation content
– Design of environmental graphics and exhibition stands

• Brand Identity Systems Design

As part of a team you will
– Research, concept, development and presentation of identity work
– Develop brand guidelines and design systems
– Roll out of identity work

_You’ll be playing a critical role in multiple design projects at any one time, from early concept to final handover to developers, printers, or clients. Every day you’ll have an opportunity to work across a broad range of design projects.

_Requirements:

• You have a Hons Degree in Visual Comms (or related degree)
• You have some experience as a graphic designer – we don’t care where you cut your teeth; freelance, agency, in-house, or printers.
• You are adept at Adobe Creative Cloud suite esp. InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects and are willing to learn more
• Very organized and detailed driven, comfortable taking direction, a design doer. You love getting through a to-do list.
• You have an instinctive eye for layout, typography, and color.
• You have a portfolio of strong, on-trend creative work
• You are willing to work hard and go the extra mile for your colleagues and clients
• You are ambitious to progress your career
