SUMMARY
Becks Martial Arts is a small family run Taekwondo school that is growing and looking to bring on reliable and enthusiastic team members. Although some martial arts training or previous working experience is preferred, all qualified and motivated applicants are invited to apply.
The Program Administrator is generally​ ​responsible for the daily operation of the school as classes are being run by the instruction staff. The top 2 major areas of focus for the Program Administrator is face-to-face customer service and new student recruitment. Meeting monthly goals for recruitment is an ongoing part of the position.During business hours, the Program Administrator assists customers with questions, sales, event sign-ups, and is aware of any needed school up-keep. The Program Administrator uses computer software including Google Workspace, Microsoft Publisher and more.
Strong customer relationships must be built and maintained with close attentiveness to customer needs. As a private gym, getting to know the customers is the cornerstone of the job.The Program Administrator must be above all else; organized, professional, and attentive to the needs of the students.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES·​ ​Working hours will begin about an hour before afternoon classes begin to when most of the afternoon kids classes are over. 3:00pm – 6:00pm. These times will vary.·​ M​anage the student account database. Ensure detailed and accurate information is collected and updated regularly.·​ ​Actively recruit new students through marketing, community events, phone calls, walk-ins, special events, or any other lead generator. Work with new student leads throughout the trial and sign-up process.·​ ​Manage all proshop sales and inventory. Ring customers up, take pre-orders, order merchandise from vendors, track shipment to customer. Prompt, on-time, with as little waiting period as possible pro-shop sales.·​ ​Work irregular events in and out of the school. Usually community events such as festival booths or student volunteer projects.· ​ ​Creating flyers, posters, videos, pamphlets, brochures for marketing and events.· ​ ​Student communication is mostly done through email. The Program Administrator will maintain regular text and phone communication campaigns in order to better serve customers.·​ R​egular face-to-face impromptu checkups of students/parents of students is a daily role of the Program Administrator. Our main service that we offer is personal growth and keeping a close watch on students and their families’ needs is how we ultimately achieve our level of quality. For this purpose, the Program Administrator must be approachable and able to approach others about their lives.​

·​ ​Light cleaning and general upkeep is a daily task.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES USED·​ ​Organizational skills and efficiency. Punctual and able to complete work with given deadlines.·​ ​Innovative and creative. Able to adapt and better improve efficiency in existing procedures.·​ ​Competent with a multitude of office and internet computer programs such as,-​ ​Microsoft Office, Google Workspace products; Docs, Sheets, Forms, Gmail, Calendar, and Drive

COMPENSATION·​ ​The Program Administrator is a part-time hourly wage W2 paid position. Pay periods run from the15th​ of the month to the 14th ​ of the following month.·​ ​No health insurance is offered for this position.·​ ​Incentive based bonuses are earned monthly for proshop sales, new student contracts special events such as camps, and birthday parties.·​ ​Wholesale discounts are offered for any merchandise through our registered vendors.
